BIOGRAPHY
Anthem State brings the energy of a live festival straight to your wedding, party or event. Based in West Yorkshire and performing across the UK, this high energy band combines pop punk and rock anthems with unexpected takes on nostalgic pop favourites, creating a set packed with songs your guests will know and want to sing along to.
From Blink 182 and Green Day inspired rock favourites to modern pop from artists such as Taylor Swift, Anthem State mixes generations and genres without losing their distinctive live band sound. Expect big guitars, powerful vocals, huge choruses and the kind of songs that have the whole room singing, jumping and getting involved.
Between them, the musicians have performed at more than 500 weddings and events, giving Anthem State the experience to read a crowd and shape their performance around the people in front of them. Their live experience has taken them to stages including the O2 Academy Birmingham, O2 Academy Leeds, Folklore in Hackney, The Hovels in Leeds and the Citadel Theatre in St Helens.
The band's frontman also brings plenty of rock credentials, having performed across the country with one of the UK's largest Green Day tribute band at clubs, theatres and live music venues.
All of that experience comes together in a performance that feels much closer to seeing your favourite band at a festival than a traditional function band. Anthem State is loud when it needs to be, packed with personality and built around creating those brilliant moments when the whole room knows every word.
